Suggestions for helping establish a Meditation / Mindfulness / at home self-care practice
A client of mine recently requested that I send some suggestions for helping to create an at-home meditation or meditative / self-care practice. I thought I would send out a post to everyone with links, so that it can be an open resource for suggestions.
Sound Healing
If you have met me and had an appointment with me, you know I LOOOOVE ambient / sound healing music. I LOVE using music to create a calming & peaceful ambient environment.
Honestly, I have been using long videos on Youtube for a few years now. There are entire youtube channels filled with seemingly endless hours of meditation videos. You can just explore endlessly. Here's some of my favorites.
First - I just LOVE this Youtube Channel called MEDITATIVE MIND. Seriously. You can just go off the deep end on this youtube channel.

Qigong
I'm a big fan of this Qigong teacher on Youtube. He's beautiful and has amazing energy and emanates serenity - this video is so calming, soothing and inspirational.
Infrared PEMF Mat
If you've been to my place and had a session with me, you have probably noticed that there is a warming pad on my massage table. The one that I have is called a Biomat (but it's only sold through a MLM).
Here's another one that's virtually identical from a competitor, that's not distributed through a MLM. This company is called HIGHER DOSE.
It helps with pain and inflammation and just creates a warm environment to relax on and allow your body's stress & pain to melt away.
It has extremely good reviews, and several times a year they will do massive discounts or Holiday Sales. So keep an eye out for those sales.
I highly recommend having one of these at home to help with relaxation and create your own at-home meditative sound healing spa sanctuary.
